 Population Policies

Directions: While reading your article, identify if the population policy in your country is classified as pro-natalism or anti-natalism. Then use the following guiding questions to write your blog post. You will be sharing this blog post to Padlet and engaging in a discussion board during our next class. You must write in depth and cover the issues associated with your population policy. Make sure that your write in THIRD person, using complete sentences. Title your blog post- Your Country's Name "Population Policy" (ie United States of America Population Policy)

Guiding Questions:

1. Locate your country on a map. Add your map image to your post. Identify the region your country is located in.

2. Identify your country as a MDC or LDC. Explain the reasons why you classified your country with this label. 

3. Using 3-5 specific quotes from the article, give evidence that supports your country having pro-natalist or anti-natalist policies. Make sure to use MLA parenthetical citations.

4. Summarize the policy in your own words and state your own opinion about the policy. Explain the reasons why the government implemented this policy, and how it is affecting SPEEDS (social, political, economic, environmental, demographic, and/or spatial factors) of your country. This should be a well in-depth paragraph. Make sure to explain why you have this opinion.
